Students will be required to attend a variety of events and field trips during the course and will be expected to complete a group project as well as solo projects. Three essays are required and each student is to produce a portfolio detailing the planning process involved in their chosen event.

Field trips will include a minimum of one social event, one business-to-consumer trade fair and one commercial event.
