What is a Home Study Course and how does it work?

The course can be done in your own time from home. This is ideal for those who have difficulty in attending the taught courses right away, persons overseas, or those that do not wish to participate in group-based activities. You can begin anytime:

Step 1

After enrolment you will be sent a pack of course materials (now also available on CD) relating to your chosen subject or subjects. Read the introduction and the first chapter.

Step 2

Completing the activity at the end of the chapter. There are no long essays to write, just a mixture of practical activities, short-answer questions or designs to work on.

Step 3

Send it back to us using the envelopes supplied. UK-based students can mail their work back for free. Overseas students can email us or send it via airmail.

Students may use the written/typed word and audio tape (or videotape) and may submit their coursework by post, CD and/or email.

Step 4

We send your marked work back to you and when all chapters are complete your certificate will be sent to you. On graduating you will be able to:

* start your own business or apply for work
* send us your CV for checking

The Wedding Planner School is a Fully-Accredited Member of the International Association for Distance Learning.

We estimate that doing just 2-3 hours per week, each course will take between 12-20 weeks to complete. Some students have completed the course in a week or two.
